Allen Jimmerson

As stated by Allen Jimmerson "I feel in order to be a good wildlife artist, I must go out there and see the animals I paint.  When I see deer, antelope, moose, bears, or hear an elk bugle, it helps me to capture the feeling and mod I need to paint them accurately.  The best compliment I can receive is when someone looks at my painting and says, "I've been there before". "

A life-long passion for wildlife and the outdoors has led Allen Jimmerson to devote himself full-time to painting wildlife and landscapes.  Officially chosen for Glacier National park's Centennial art, he brings from the Flathead Valley peaceful and inspiring oil paintings of Montana and Glacier Park.  Each reflects his own inspiration from personal experience with nature.  The Lewistown-born artist has sold over 800 originals to private collectors worldwide. His work has been featured in Bugle Magazine, Montana Outdoors, Bow Hunter Magazine, published by Reflective Art Giftware Co, and twice chosen for the cover of Cabela's Catalog.  As a dedicated outdoorsman, many of his originals are sought after by sportsman groups.  A disciplined and prolific painter, he studies and learns in the field and at the easel, using rich colors, use of light and meticulous detail in each piece.
